Hi! I’m Angie. Wife. Mom. Former Teacher. Book enthusiast. I have always been passionate about books and the power they hold to open our eyes to other people’s worlds and experiences, as well as to help us discover more about ourselves. 

As a child, I spent countless hours at my local library. I still remember the thrill I would feel as I stacked my books onto the counter, handed over my library card, and thought, “Those are all mine!” I still have my very loved copy of Matilda by Roald Dahl from childhood. I remember reading that book numerous times and thinking I had so much in common with Matilda. No, not because of her nasty parents ;), but her love of books and learning resonated with me and made me want to enter her world over and over again. 

And what a wonderful feeling that is. Discovering yourself through a character in a book. Opening your eyes to a whole new world. Over the years, I have spent many hours in my classroom sharing the love of books with my students through “First Chapter Friday” helping them find books that resonate with them.  One of my greatest joys in life is sharing my love of books and reading with my students, friends, and family. It was only natural that this passion would turn into a business helping other people fall in love with books. After all, the story begins at Chapter One…
